Job 42:2 "I know that you can do all things. No plan of yours can be thwarted." This verse has given us great encouragement in the last few days. We are resting on the truth of God's word. Please pray for us...so many details to be taken care of, and many of these are out of our control to make happen. Business sale to be finalized, house sale to finish (here and in Texas), packing to do, school to complete...etc., etc., etc. And yet, amidst these temporary difficulties, we have an indescribable peace. Our tentative plan is to have all things complete by mid to late March. But of course, God will direct the timing. Thank you for following this blog and please pray for us to continue with great resolve as we move forward on this call and adventure. We recognize that each part of this journey is important. God has many things to teach us. May we always have open hearts to receive it!
Always trusting.....
Robbyn
I just love seeing God work out all the details!
ReplyDeletePraying that all of the details will just fall into place in His timing! I am so encouraged and inspired by your family's willingness, even through all of the unknowns, to step out in complete faith and go where God wants you to be! What an awesome testimony to your kids, family, friends, and everyone around you!
ReplyDeleteDear Robbyn and Family,
ReplyDeleteWhat an exciting adventure you have found yourself in the midst of! I am enjoying reading about the progress and am grateful for your willingness to share your experiences, even when it's scary and hard. When it comes to details, you have already learned the Lord will take care of those better than you ever can.
An encouraging passage from Scripture is Hebrews 11:1ff - "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." The rest of the chapter talks about plans that changed, people that had no clue where God was leading them, and how in the end, God is faithful and is always with His people every step of the way.
The Lord be with you every step of the way on your journey. You have requested my prayers so I am praying for you all. Let me know if there's anything else we can do to be helpful!
Christ Peace,
Corey

It is looking like by the end of March we will have things wrapped up here and will move to Texas. We will keep you posted. One day at a time!
